About Me

Annie’s accolades include her 9 years of massage experience and her 1220-hour program massage degree from Heritage College in Kansas City, MO. Her education was focused on the human body so that she could pursue a career that involved integrating and sustaining healthy and functional lifestyles. While in clinic she had the opportunity to meet Kansas City Chiefs player Eric Berry and had the privilege of being his full-time massage therapist during football season for the last 4 years and also helping his teammates get through seasonal injuries.

Since the age of 16, Annie has known that a hands-on career in a health field was her calling. When physical therapists were not able to help her with the pain she endured as an athlete and hindered her to play professional softball, she decided she wanted to get involved in a similar field to help future individuals.  She has provided massage to all types of athletes, team members of the Kansas City Chiefs NFL players, and also helped medical practices and spas with clients dealing with debilitating chronic pain. Annie’s personal knowledge of athletics in addition to her massage training enable her to work very well with healthy and injured athletes, including athletes possibly in transition. She also provides therapeutic massage for anyone that does not experience chronic pain and are looking for a relaxing experience.

Annie’s massage expertise integrates from several modalities including Therapeutic, Sports and Orthopedic Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Injury Rehabilitation, Postural Assessment, Prenatal, Neuromuscular, and Hot/ Cold therapy and bamboo fusion massage. She has experience working with clients who suffer from chronic and acute pain, sports injuries, and automobile accidents.

Annie has her own history with closed head trauma in the form of a concussion, torn and severely pulled muscles, and illotibial band syndrome. Her personal experience with severe injuries helps her uniquely identify with the physical, mental, and emotional needs of her clients. Annie’s work has been described as “intuitive” and “problem solving”.

Don’t miss out on the opportunity for Annie to heal you, whether you are dealing with daily chronic pain or you need to be relaxed and have a moment of serenity to take you away from your stresses of life. She is a true expert in the field of massage.

“Annie is blessing. This is the first time I have seen a massage therapist with advanced training. I felt like I received a specialized treatment rather than just a generic massage. She also took the time to teach me and my husband how to use my foam roller properly and different stretches for before and after working out. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.” Steve and Jody-Kansas City, MO

“After being a Plastic Surgeon for the last 40 years, I have found difficulty during procedures to not be in extreme pain. Since Annie has been helping me through the debilitating pain in my shoulder, I almost have full range of motion back and I do not experience as much pain” Associates in Plastic Care- Dr. Phil Gutek
